Professor Fok Tai-fai is Pro-Vice-Chancellor and Choh-Ming Li Professor of Paediatrics of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. He graduated in medicine from the University of Hong Kong and received his MD in CUHK.
Professor Fok’s research interest is in newborn care, especially the prevention and management of respiratory conditions, newborn infection, newborn growth, and medical education. He has published extensively in international journals, and also serves on the editorial boards of international and national medical journals. He is a fellow of the Royal Colleges of Physicians (London and Edinburgh), Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, Hong Kong Academy of Medicine and Hong Kong College of Paediatricians. Professor Fok has broad experience in public service. He is Vice-President (General Affairs) of the Hong Kong Academy of Medicine, Deputy Chairman of the Preliminary Investigation Committee of the Medical Council of Hong Kong, and a member of Research Council of the Food and Health Bureau of Hong Kong.
