【活动回顾】中心联席总监钟一诺教授于TEDx LionRock发表演讲

2025 年 11 月，本中心联席总监钟一诺教授登上TEDx LionRock舞台，抛出了一个值得深思的问题：「有框架 = 冇自由？」

钟教授在演讲中分享了一个对他影响深远的经历——他曾在学术与艺术之间拉扯，感到迷惘。直至他读到李欧梵教授的一句话——「不务正业先至可以做到正业」。李教授告诉他：如果只专心做好一件事，就会失去对其他事物的洞察力。这句话改变了他对人生选择的看法。

钟教授进一步指出，公共衞生的科学研究与音乐的艺术表达，本质上没有冲突——两者都是追求真理的不同方法。正如剧作家雷蒙·钱德勒所说，世上存在两种真理：一种是「照耀的真理」（科学），另一种是「温暖的真理」（艺术）。两者相辅相成，让科学不致冰冷，让艺术免于空泛——这正是「为何不可两者都做？」的最佳注解。

那是否什么都可以做呢？

在生命伦理学中，我们常常面对结构与自主之间的张力。而钟教授的回应是：真正的自由，从来不是毫无底线，而是建立于对原则、价值与道德的尊重之上。自由，是在框架内找到属于自己的风格——这既是人生课题，亦是一种伦理判断。
