A Warm Welcome to Prof. Nancy S. JECKER

We sincerely welcome Prof. Nancy S. JECKER to CUHK Centre for Bioethics!

Prof. JECKER, Professor of Bioethics & Humanities of University of Washington (UW) Medical School in United States has been appointed as our Centre Advisor from 1 September 2020. She holds Adjunct Professorships at UW School of Law, Department of Global Health and Department of Philosophy. Prof. JECKER has wide collaborations with colleagues throughout Asia, sub-Saharan Africa and Europe. She was selected to the Board of Directors for the International Association of Bioethics.

As the Centre endeavours to facilitate knowledge exchange and build collaborations in bioethics and health care ethics, Prof. JECKER with her profound experience and insights will offer invaluable advice on our ongoing development, research projects and other initiatives.
