On January 15th, our Centre’s Co – Director Dr. Lau had the privilege of conducting a post – movie sharing with Madam Lau Kam Lung Secondary School Of MFBM students about “The Last Dance (破·地獄)”, a movie that has been widely discussed since its release in early November 2024.
During the sharing, they delved into various aspects of bioethics, including life and death, relationships, religion, paternalism, and how the movie’s story was reflected in its songs and lyrics. Bioethics, as a truly multidisciplinary field, can be presented in diverse forms.
Dr. Lau thoroughly enjoyed all the meaningful and touching conversations with the students. The school and teachers’ recognition of bioethics as a crucial element in shaping students’ growth is highly appreciated!
Our Centre treasures this partnership opportunity and is glad to be part of it. Through a wider range of activities, more opportunities for students to think about bioethics will be provided, guiding them to keep exploring and making progress on their growth journey!
