CUHK Centre for Bioethics & True Light Girls’ College – Student Ambassadors Training Workshop

The Student Ambassadors Workshop co-organized by CUHK Centre for Bioethics x True Light Girls’ College on July 18 was successfully completed!

We are excited to have the enthusiastic participation of F.3 to F.5 students from True Light Girls’ College, and their discussions with our three Bioethics Bridge Builders, as well as our Centre’s Dr Chelsea SUN, Dr John ZHONG, and Centre Co-Director Dr Ann LAU. We explored the bioethical concerns of reproductive autonomy from the perspectives of individuals, families, society, culture, and values.

After the workshop, the students visited the “Transcending Transience” exhibition of the CUHK Art Museum to learn about the aesthetics pursued by contemporary people in the late Ming Dynasty through the art and culture of Jiangnan.

CUHK Centre for Bioethics will continue to reach out to secondary schools and the community to explore different bioethical issues and topics!
