[Event Recap] Microbiome Summit 2026
The CUHK Centre for Bioethics was proud to participate as a Supporting Organization at the Microbiome Summit 2026, held on January 31, 2026. This premier forum, co-organized by the Microbiota I-Center (MagIC) (香港微生物菌群創新中心) and CUHK Medicine, successfully convened over 480 delegates from 15 countries to explore diverse frontier themes in microbiome science.
Representing the Centre, our Co-Director Dr. Ann Lau actively engaged in summit dialogues. She brought bioethics perspectives to discussions on translating cutting-edge research into real-world impact, underscoring our commitment to integrating ethical considerations into global innovation within this rapidly evolving field.
